THE GLITTER CULT | Feb 22, 2026
✨ Welcome back, cult members.
This week's fixation: eyeshadows you can apply with your finger. Why? I'm so severely near-sighted that I cannot use an eyeshadow brush. I run into the mirror trying to see what I'm doing and stab myself in the eye. Luckily, there are plenty of glitter shadows on the market that don't need tools (or vision) to apply.

🛒 What I Tried
e.l.f. Fine as Fleck Glitter Eyeshadow: Filthy Rich Review
It’s no secret I love glitter. When I spotted this shadow on the shelves, I knew I had to try it. Per the Target listing, the shade “Filthy Rich” is described as a neutral brown with champagne sparkle. Here’s what I thought.
✅ Why It Works: The color is to die for.
It’s an incredibly flattering one-and-done shade.
I really love the glitter. It pulls almost green on my eyes, and it looks like a higher-end shadow.
I can apply with my finger.
It’s only $7.
❌ Why It Doesn’t: It does require a primer.
I am using Ulta’s Inner Glow Tinted Eye Primer in the photo above, and it worked well.
💸 Buy It? Yes! If you like dramatic, Urban Decay-style single shadows, you’ll love this one.

🏈 Less than a month after their Super Bowl win, the Seahawks are up for sale. The team has been held by late owner Paul Allen's trust since his 2018 death, violating NFL rules requiring individual ownership. My prediction: the new owner is somewhere in the Epstein files.

🌸 The National Garden Bureau recently named 2026 the year of impatiens. The popular garden flower comes in over 1,000 varieties, with some New Guinea species growing as tall as small trees. The more you know!

The classic impatiens you see at garden centers.

A subscriber has introduced me to the world of Dollar Tree beauty, and I now I can’t stop reading Reddit reviews. It turns out our favorite discount retailer has majorly upgraded their game — I’m talking peptide serums for $1.25. I will be trying this out for myself in the very near future.

✨ Worth a Watch
We were all rooting for you, Tyra. But the former executive producer and hot "smize" cream entrepreneur doesn’t come across great in this three-part Netflix docuseries. In fact, she doesn’t give a shit that she exploited naive 18-year-old girls for content. If you were a loyal “America’s Next Top Model” watcher back in the day, you’ll want to check out this exposé.
