Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Rose Gold Review
The Laura Mercier Caviar Sticks always top “best of beauty” editorials. However, I had never tried them until recently because $33 for one eyeshadow stick seemed insane.
I picked up the shade “rosegold”1 at T.J. Maxx for $9.99, which is much more in line with my budget. This newsletter makes no money — what do you expect?
Here is how the shadow stick worked for me:

✅ Why It Works: I hate to admit it, but both the shade and the formula are gorgeous.
The color “rosegold” is very wearable. As seen in my swatch, it’s more gold than pink compared to the official product photos.
If you have a neutral to warm skin tone, this is a great one-and-done shade.
The formula glides on easily and blends with your finger. No brushes needed.
❌ Why It Doesn’t: I’m still on the hunt for a crease-free shadow stick.
I need to apply my trusty Milani eyeshadow primer if I want to prevent creasing.
For the price, I shouldn’t need a separate primer.

The “Shell Game” podcast is supposed to be a semi-serious take on AI in the workplace, but it’s the first podcast that’s made me laugh out loud in a long time. TL;DR version: a journalist launches a real startup with 5 AI employees, and sitcom-level chaos ensues.
