Minimalist Marula Oil Moisturizer Review
I love marula oil. Like, a lot. The Ordinary’s marula oil is one of my most repurchased products, and I always keep a backup on hand. So when I saw that Minimalist (an Indian skincare brand new to me) had rolled out a marula moisturizer, you can bet I placed a Target order immediately.

➡️ Product: Minimalist Marula Oil 5% Moisturizer
Ingredients: Water/Aqua, Glycerin, Sclerocarya Birrea (Marula) Seed Oil, Methylpropanediol, Dicapryly Carbonate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Butylene Glycol, Cetearyl Alcohol, Glyceryl Stearate, Peg-100 Stearate, Trehalose, Dimethicone, Saccharide Isomerate, Pentylene Glycol, Coco-Caprylate/Caprate, Triheptanoin, C9-12 Alkane, Sodium Hyaluronate, Allantoin, Linoleic Acid, Linolenic Acid, Carbomer, Cetyl Alcohol, Phenoxyethanol, Tocopheryl Acetate, Triethanolamine, Nylon-12, Petrolatum, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Ethylhexylglycerin, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Polyurethane-100, Tocopherol, Citric Acid, Sodium Citrate, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate
✅ Why It Works: I love this stuff. The moisturizer is super hydrating for my semi-dry skin and sinks in immediately, unlike pure marula oil. It's light enough to wear under makeup, but rich enough to double as a night cream. I also LOVE how straightforward the ingredient list is — no godforsaken niacinamide here.
❌ Why It Doesn’t: This product may be too heavy if you have oily skin, especially in the summer. Try it out at night first.
Buy It? Yes! For under $10, this is a steal.

🍕 Following: Pizza Hut restaurant chain to be sold for $2.7 billion. My beloved pan crust has fallen to private equity. RIP to everything sacred in life.
🏀 Reading: “Online Trolls Harassed Her Six-Year-Old. That Was Only The Beginning.” It's a long article, but a WILD ride and so worth it — Iowa State women's basketball, the t-shirt shop Raygun, an online troll, and a reporter with a stolen identity.
💡Growing: Firefly petunias. TBH, these kind of suck. I should do a full review.
🛍️ Shopping: Old Navy’s gauze pants. A fabulous choice for summer.
