Do You Feel Terrible? Me Too.

Whether you have physical pain, mental health struggles, or the 24/7 destruction of everything has got you down, we’re all having issues. I’ve rounded up my tried-and-true survival products for slogging through chronic illness.

  1. Online Pharmacy. Getting your meds delivered takes one more thing off your mental and physical to-do list. I use Amazon Pharmacy, which handles all refill requests on my behalf. CostPlus Drugs, BlinkRx, and CVS’s online pharmacy are other options.

  2. Nicer Loungewear. When getting dressed is too hard, a matching set makes it easier. And please buy a nicer one. You’ll be able to wear it for errands, doctor’s appointments, and Zoom calls, and you’ll feel so much better. I like this hoodie and these wide-leg pants from Quince. I also love this half-zip and these barrel-leg sweats from Old Navy.

  3. Grocery Delivery Service. A grocery delivery service saves a ton of time and energy. You need to tip, but I’ve found the cost evens out as it limits impulse purchases. I use Walmart+, but Target Circle 360 is similar. Look for credit card offers or holiday discounts to make the annual membership cheaper.

  4. Overnight Protective Hairstyle. A ponytail gives you the dreaded hair dent. Find an overnight hairstyle you can reliably do to preserve your hair for the next day so you can save your energy for other things. I prefer a simple French braid, but I’ve also heard good things about the Sleepy Tie.

  5. Magnesium Stick. I like this as a simple solution to sore muscles that you can keep on your nightstand. I have this one from Frenshe, but there are plenty of options from major retailers and indie sellers.

We’re in this together, cult members. 💚
